It is amazing how you can be your own worst enemy in this network marketing industry, simply because you don't understand the things that are killing your network marketing career.
There are 3 very simple things to understand that can change a person's network marketing success. These network marketing tips will be the difference between having longevity or a business that will last about 90 days.

Focus on people not money: This is the biggest mistake many people make when they start out in a network marketing career. They are so busy looking at the money, that they do not understand that money is a byproduct of helping people.
Network Marketing is a process of development and change. Many people join the industry never having done a business before. The process involves them moving from an employee mentality to an entrepreneur mentality.
This is not something that will happen over night in Network Marketing and the danger is, because it is so easy to get involved, is also so easy to quit.
If somebody doesn't understand the process, then they will leave simply because they have made £10k in the first couple of weeks!
If you treat people correctly they will develop into the leaders that they were created to be and as a result of that, they will build strong organisations that will feed your residual income check.

Not knowing effective lead generation: We never know who in network marketing is going to do anything significant, so we always want to go as wide as possible. This means you will need to speak to a lot of people, so if you haven't got people to speak to you will struggle. This is where effectively generation comes in and if a person doesn't understand how to do that, then that will cut short their network marketing career.
There are many platforms that teach attraction marketing the lead generation, but whatever platform you use, you have to understand there needs to be a combination of both off-line and online strategies.
I have people in my organisation that will never go online to try and build their Network Marketing business but yet they have strong downlines. On the flip side there are people that come into my organisation that want to know how to use the Internet to build their business. So you have to be in a position to serve what ever desire your team members have and to show them effectively how to get their business in front of more people.

Lack of consistent activity: This is the pothole that many people fall into, they are not consistent with the activity and as a result they are not able to build up a big enough pipeline of prospects. When this happens, things just seem to be harder and harder because without the momentum the only thing people focus on are the negatives. I can remember in my business, when I was building momentum, the hardest part was being consistent and staying focused on the end goal.
If a person doesn't gain the momentum quickly, they will soon get despondent and eventually leave the business.
This is why I believe both online and off-line prospecting is necessary. Through things like social media and other forms of passive marketing you can get people to be attracted to you, which will then give you more people to speak to.
On top of that you can go out there doing a networking meetings, situational prospecting and all the other off-line techniques that will put you in front of people.
This way momentum will begin to gather up speed very quickly.
Whatever strategies you decide to do, the important thing is that you are doing them consistently on a daily basis, however unfortunately many people do not do this, which results in their business not growing.
