One of the main things that causes people to be a frustrated network marketer is, after the 100 people on their list are completely exhausted, after they have spoken to all of their family and friends, they feel that they have nobody else to contact.
They have their reasons “WHY” they came into Network Marketing in the first place, but their frustrations cause them to lose focus and the only thing that they can think of is “how to succeed in network marketing?” which starts getting them down.
Let's face it, if you leave somebody to their own devices, they are going to fail and this is why everybody needs somebody to mentor them correctly. The number one cause of failure in Network Marketing is poor or incorrect mentorship, coupled with inactivity.
It is very easy to get excited about a Network Marketing opportunity, but excitement can fade away very quickly. You have to couple the excitement with mentoring and coaching mixed with activity. Once those two things are put together, there is a powerful combination for success.
You also have to lay the right expectations as well, and not take this thing as some kind of get rich quick scheme. People outside of the industry who are in so-called traditional business, always look and say “Why Network Marketing?” And most of them never take the time to understand business model, this is why they always give the ignorant response of “oh it's one of those pyramids isn't it” This is another reason why people trying to build their business can become a frustrated Network Marketer.

However if you are only using what your company is giving you, you are selling yourself short and the reason why I say that is because, you will be branding your company using that information, but you will not be branding yourself.
People buy and follow people that they know, like and trust, so you have to brand yourself first. The amazing thing is, if you take the time to brand yourself first and become a person of value, then the knock-on effect is you are going to sponsor more people in your business.
