Why Network Marketers SHOULD be using Social Media
So are you being social on social media? This is the biggest mistake Network Marketers who are trying to recruit using the Internet makes.
Social media as a phenomena has drastically increased the reach of network marketers to be able to get their business in front of a lot of people. However if not used properly, it is a place where network marketers can annoy the heck out of people.
The Use Of Social Media In Network Marketing
Social media is just that, it is the place to be social, people go on there to network with friends and potential friends, they go on there to be entertained, and they go on there to be educated and informed.
They do not go on there to be pitched all the time about products or services or business opportunities.
However when done correctly you can actually indirectly put a lot of eyes on your business opportunity.
So truly ask yourself the question, are you being social in social media?
Spamming Does Not Work
If you think you can just spam your links to people and hope that they will buy or register, you will be sorely mistaken. You have to be indirect on social media and you have to lead with value. In other words you have to do identify a problem come up with a solution and show how you can deliver the solution to help with the pain.
Also social media gives people an opportunity to find out more about you as a person,, because remember people buy from people that they know, like and trust.
So are you going about your business and in the right way online? What information are you sharing and in what ratio? A good rule of thumb would be 80% value 20% pitch. So hold yourself accountable as you're going about your online activity, always have the question in the front of your mind, “are you being social?”.
