In this Blog I am going to be dealing with the types of people you can potential recruit into your Network Marketing business. It is important to understand the 4 Types Of Network Marketing Characters, because we are in a people's business, so the ability to relate to different types of people is extremely important.
Once you learn how to communicate with all types of people you see a dramatic increase in your results in your network marketing business.
So let's delve into each of the individual characters!
The 4 Types Of Network Marketing Characters Starting At Number One
This type of person has a real passion for helping others, they are very cause oriented and get a lot of fulfilment by serving other people. These people are very loyal and also very teachable. However the downside to these types of people is that they wear their hearts and their sleeve, so many times other people are able to take advantage of them. They are also not very big risk takers and they do not like change, so it can take them forever to make a decision. Therefore do not expect these people to sign up straight away at a Business Opportunity Meeting
Network Marketing Character Type Number Two
These are your promoters, they love being around people, they love having fun and they love laughing.. It is very easy for them to promote because they get very excited and have the ability to effect others with they enthusiasm. However the downside to this type of characters is they are not very organised, they do you not like structure and they can be a little bit scatty. They also find it harder to focus and are easily distracted. This can result in them being enticed into another business opportunity fairly easily. How if you can guide them correctly, they would probably be your best recruiters. You can typically expect a sapphire to sign up at Business Opportunity Meeting pretty much straight away.
Network Marketing Character Type Number Three
Anything to do with organisation, you want to have all these character types involved. They are extremely logical thinkers, they will make sure that the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted. They typically are workaholics, perfectionist, focused people and find it hard to switch off and enjoy themselves. Their idea of fun is reading a good book or watching a good documentary. As they are so logical, sometimes their communication can be perceived as being a little bit cold, but that is just because they want to see a definitive outcome from a specific set of processes. They are very big on integrity and honesty and they like to do their research and due diligence. So if you try to sign them up at a meeting, you will push them away and offend them.
Having these people in your business is very beneficial because once they are sold out to something they give it 110% commitment, and when they build something, they will build it solid so it will last a very long time.
Network Marketing Character Type Number Four
The Ruby is probably the hardest character type to try and mentor, these people are very competitive and they are very goal driven. They also always want to be number one and will do their every best to let other people know just how good they are. They will try to multitask and many time spread themselves to thin, simply because they want to get the most amount done in the least amount of time.
You have to be able to raise your posture in order to mentor this type of person correctly, but these people are workers and they will build strong organisations always trying to beat the competition. So in doing that they will be very active in recruiting and they will be very active in promoting.
The downside to this type of character is that because they want to be number one all the time, they do have a tendency to exaggerate things and in some cases even lie. So you have to come alongside them to direct them in the right way and let them know, they will get there but it is a process. If they continue to prove themselves to be just unteachable, then in that situation you have to do distance yourself until they're ready to learn. Typically these types of people will sign up straight away at a Business Opportunity Meeting.
Network Marketing Character Type Categorising
Once you have spoken to enough people, then indirectly you will begin to start categorising them into these for personality types. Once you've done that, then you are better equipped to deal with the different types of people and not get disappointed when your expectation of them is not met.
The 4 Types Of Network Marketing Characters is a reflection of society as a whole, so Network Marketing has got both good and bad, so just remember, you cannot control what people do, the only behaviour you can control is your own.
