I have titled this “Why Do I Prefer Using LinkedIn For Prospecting”.
Notice I didn't say Why Do I Prefer Using LinkedIn For Marketing”.
You have to understand the difference between prospecting and marketing.
Prospecting is when you're reaching out and having direct conversations person-to-person.
Marketing is where you are putting content out there and you are hoping that an unknown person will click onto your link and submit the details to join your list or start following you.

So why do I prefer LinkedIn for prospecting?
The first reason is that people on LinkedIn are mainly business focused
This means you are going to be in contact with a lot higher quality of person in terms of business.
Second reason is people on LinkedIn are already prepared to talk about business.
This is very different from the other social media platforms where people go on to share their life.
The third reason is LinkedIn allows you to target your preferred audience in a laser targeted way.
The fourth reason is Linkedin allows you to expand your audience because you can connect to 2nd and third connections of your connections.
The fifth reason is LinkedIn does not have the same restrictions like Facebook does in terms of the organic reach of people that see your posts because of a link being in the description.
The Use Of LinkedIn Is YOUR CHOICE

Social Media is very powerful in terms of getting in front of people, so you should choose a social media platform that suites your personality and then master it.
The internet has changed the game in Network Marketing so those old school prospecting methods of just speaking to your friends and family, even though can still work BUT that should not be your main strategy.
