Proximity Marketing The Long And Short
Things have changed drastically over the last 10 years in regards to technology, and one of those areas is in mobile technology. Proximity Marketing has allowed companies with products or services, to get the message in front of people in close proximity to them whilst the interest is HOT!.
Proximity Marketing creates more localised engagement and subsequently increases productivity.
Historically it was only large companies with even larger advertising budgets that could take advantage of proximity marketing simply because of the initial cost and ongoing costs. Companies would use Proximity Beacons to push the message out via Bluetooth technology to mobile phones within a specific range.
However with recent developments it is now possible for smaller companies and individual businesses to take advantage of the same technology.
So what does Proximity Marketing mean for the Network Marketer?
It means that as Network Marketers we can get our message out to more people locally around us by using Proximity Beacons. This can drive traffic to our landing pages, our product pages and our testimonials pages.
There is one company that has taken the proximity marketing technology to a whole new level. In the past these Proximity Beacons were quite big and not something that you could really carry around with you. However one company have been able to manufacture a device that is small enough to fit on your key chain and can transmit message up to 100 yards in any vicinity of the beacon.
So for the Network Marketer this is the perfect off-line strategy, because of the proximity beacon you literally become a walking billboard no matter where you go.
Gone are the days of having to worry about approaching people on the street and knowing what to say to them. Now it doesn't matter what your character is like whether or not you are shy or whether you are out going, the proximity beacon will send out your message no matter what.
Literally anybody can now take advantage of proximity marketing, from the plumber and the electrician to the hairdresser to the personal trainer, straight through to the Network Marketer.
This new wave is taking the industry by storm and those who have the eyes to see and this is to hear are going to be able to take advantage of the momentum.
So just remember if you are not using proximity marketing to get your message out there, your competition is.
